Book Review : Think and Grow Rich

This book was written after taking interview of many-many millionaires and billionaires. While reading this I thought that, it will give me a quick formula to get rich on my own. It does has things that are helpful in being financially independent. As it speaks about things around your brain, mind and thoughts feelings and emotions. It may seem like, what does feelings and emotions has to do with being rich. I want to tell you that it does. How do you feel about yourself. What things you desire and how strong that desire is, it speaks about this things deeply. One more thing that I felt is repeated in this book is that, programming your subconscious mind for what you want in your life. It may seem like programming your mind is easy. Just listen the affirmations repeatedly and this is true till some degree. I will suggest be choosy while choosing a affirmation for you and your life. Give it good amount of time to think and analyse. It is a good read and atlast I want to say that, reading is good and gives you an insight about things you would never think about. Go for this book if you are already taking action in some direction and want to get more gains from your work.

Your mobile, your laptop, camera or anything that trigger you to open it and check something or do something because you do not have anything to do. What could go wrong when you will be back on work. This thing is most common and reveals that you are scared of something or someone. This feeling is common when you haven't mastered personal time management . Then I read Dr. Sudhir Dixit’s seminal book on Time Management. One line from it fundamentally changed how I looked at everything: “You can’t manage time. You can only manage yourself within time.” And it clicked. We all get the same 24 hours. The difference between those who create something meaningful and those who feel stuck isn’t a matter of time — it’s a matter of clarity and self-management . 1. Slow Down to Move Faster: The Power of Deep Work There was a phase where I’d open my laptop, start coding, reply to a few messages, then check something ra...
